Cleanevent Cleaning and
Management Academy

Tampa Bay, Florida, USA


The inaugural course of the Cleanevent Cleaning and Management Academy has been successfully concluded in Tampa Bay, Florida, USA. Cleanevent employees from around the world attended from 18 March to 1 April.

rom the USA, attendees included Matt Peach, Rusty Tilman, Robert Whte and Marilyn Wegner. Pete Watts was our lone UK representative. From Australia, attendees were Georgia Cody, Chris Connelly, Andy Leonard, Hugh Carey, Craig Madigan and Steve Hunter.
The instructional staff included Craig Lovett, Maddie Jackson, Laurie Jackson, Mike Deinnis, Paul Lovett, Chris Arnott, Steven Searle, Steven Webber and Darren Carter. Paula Bell and Sarah Hinman provided excellent computer and administration support.
The course was based at Raymond James Stadium. A George Strait cocert held at the stadium during the Academy was used as a live operational learning experience. Other Operational visits were conducted at Bristol Motor Speedway and the New York Yankees Legends Field.
Educational visits were conducted to Universal Studios, Disney Wide World of Sports Arena and Kennedy Space Centre.
The aim of the course was to enhance Cleanevent Management's operational, financial, business and personnel management skills on a world wide co-ordinated basis.
Visiting speakers included Mr Ed Fleury, CEO Rentokil Initial, Mr Mickey Farrell, Director of Operations, Raymond James Stadium and Rick Abramson, Chief Operating Officer, Delaware North, Kennedy Space Centre.
Overall the course achieved its aims and we look forward to the student panel transferring their knowledge throughout the Cleanevent family worldwide.
