CLEANEVENT CONSULTING

I guess that considering I’m the new kid on the block it was always going to be inevitable that I would be asked to write the next article from Cleanevent Consulting for Team Talk. Thanks guys!

It’s been two months since I left my last job and ventured into the world of Cleanevent Consultancy at SOCOG with Mike, Greg and Darren. Whilst that time makes you realise just how much you don't know, I can safely say there's a lot more I do know about this business, and the rather large "event" coming up in September they call the Olympic Games.

I was employed to look after the scoping and management of all training and non-competition venues for Consulting. I figure I’m about to learn a lot more of Sydney than I already know as I venture around these venues during Games time. You’ll see me out and about in what I fondly refer to as the Cleanevent truck (it feels like that to me considering I’m normally in my little Barina!). I’ll be venturing as far north as the Northern Beaches, as far south as Campbelltown, as far east as Centennial Park and as far west as Blacktown. More importantly I’ll be making the daily trek into Camp Cleanevent where I’ll no doubt get to catch up with all of you.

Until then I’ll continue to try and keep the three boys under control up here and we’ll see you very soon.

Cheers!

Nicki

PS: Whilst writing this article I gave up my title of "New Kid on the Block" and would like to take this opportunity to welcome Victoria Stewart, Consulting’s new Administration Assistant. A very popular addition so far, as she remembers to update the "Days to Go" board every morning and keeps us out of trouble with Craig. THANKS VICTORIA!
