The annual Cleanevent conference for the USA Operation took place recently in Nashville, the home of Country Music, cowboy hats and boot scootin’. It was held from Thursday 20 July until Saturday 22 July, coinciding with the 75^th Anniversary International Association of Assembly Managers (IAAM) Annual Trade Show and Conference.

The focus of the Cleanevent conference was to look towards the future of Cleanevent USA. Of particular importance the growth and development of the company and its people.

Attending the three-day conference were US Venue Managers, Regional Managers and the Atlanta based team. The conference was also well attended by an Aussie contingent of Craig Lovett, Chris Arnott, Laurie Jackson and Maddie Jackson, who as most of you know, is a member of the Cleanevent Board of Directors.

Both Laurie and Maddie Jackson have extensive experience within the event/venue management industry having held senior roles with some of Australia’s most respected organisations and they take this knowledge with them to the States.

From Nashville both of them will head to the Atlanta office for approximately three months where they will use their knowledge to further develop Cleanevent’s profile in the US marketplace. They will put into practice policies and procedures to ensure a strong foundation for the company in the future.

Also attending the Cleanevent conference were Ron Willis and Nell Bruce of ICS Rentokil who are our joint venture partners in the United States.

From all reports the Cleanevent conference went very well as did the IAAM Trade Show and Conference, however the troops have not yet returned, so I dare say there will be plenty more stories to tell and photos to see – but we will all have to wait until the next edition.
