Here we are, about a week away from the 2000 Olympic Games commencing. Bring it on!

For us in Consulting it already has been a long winding road, which started in the original SOCOG building in Kent St Sydney in September 1996. Darren, Greg and I have been working on the Consultancy Project with Craig since then. We obviously have since been joined by Nicki and Victoria.

Now we go operational for the big one. During the games we will be based out of a temporary office at the Olympic Logistics Centre. Our role will be mobile assisting contractors and SOCOG achieving the required standards.

We are very confident that all the hard work that has been put into the planning phases will lead to a successful conclusion for the Cleaning and Waste Program.

I wish all the elements of Cleanevent from management, support, venue staff, Camp Cleanevent and Consulting a good Olympic Games. Remember this is a once in a life experience - work hard, play hard, enjoy yourself and be proud of what you are doing!
