CLEANEVENT STARS OF THE MOMENT

Hello to all Cleanevent Staff,

As we are only a few weeks away from the Olympics and the pressure is on, I am happy to say that things in the far north are good. We are still extremely busy with back to back events and things won't slow down for a while yet. Microsoft Ed, the largest convention of the year with 1200 international delegates attending has just finished. After six days of set up, three days of conference and two days of bump out, we are breathing a bit easier again.

Recently the Cairns Convention Centre welcomed Mr Harvey Lister from Ogden Brisbane to conduct a walk through and study of the centre, as a new Convention Centre is being built in Perth. We received a letter from him a few days later and I have taken a quotation from it and would like to share it with you all.

"Thank-you for your time this week in hosting our study team at the Cairns Convention Centre. I am compelled to stress the immense pride I felt as we toured through the Centre and noticed the obvious excellent condition of the Centre. Each of you, and your fellow employees, are obviously proud of the venue you operate and its maintenance standards, cleanliness and the attention to detail are all testament to that. I'm certain that P.C.O's and conference delegates notice. I certainly did. Well done."
